This web site is a great way to publicize a charter, keep members informed, and attract a broader audience for the North Kansas Chapter of the American Red Cross. We'll use this site to get the word out on the American Red Cross and create a better sense of community among our members as well as create a safety net in cage of emergency or need. We'll also include pictures of our work and members involved to give an idea of what we do.

Our Motto

The Red Cross stands behind its international motto: Together, we can save lives. This goes off of the idea that being trained, empowered and prepared can truly give any volunteer or long time member of the Red Cross a base to learn and grow to help others in need.

Volunteering

A person may walk off from the street and offer to volunteer, but only for up to 7 days. After that they must fill out an online questionnaire, have a background check, come in for the “physical test” to confirm the online information and finally be educated in basic care and safety including dealing with children and seniors.
